Biogas originates from various sources. The first example is found in agriculture with farming waste (liquid manures).
Within the framework of environmental protection, biogas results from the purge of urban waste water, the outflows of industrial food-processing or those of the paper pulp, from households refuse fermentation, from dump grounds or finally from waste treatment in digesters.
