The Hibon S2H range of positive displacement blowers is designed for use in blower and vacuum applications. Suitable for handling air and inert gases, these blowers provide market typical footprints for easy exchange.

This blower series is suitable for any OEM application where cost is a consideration.

Principle of operation

The Series S2H blowers are positive displacement blowers, which incorporate a pair of two-lobe contra-rotating rotors. One of the rotors is driven by the drive shaft. The other rotor is maintained in the correct phase relation by timing gears in the gear end cover. As the rotors turn, gas which enters the inlet is trapped in the chambers which form between the rotors and the body casing, and is eventually forced out the blower at the discharge (outlet).

  • Two-lobe construction
  • The blowers S2H are available in two different versions 

    H version blowers, which are installed horizontally, and provide for a vertical gas flow through the blowers.
    V version blowers, which are installed vertically, and provide for a horizontal gas flow through the blowers.

  • Clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation
    • Detachable feet allowing vertical or horizontal flow
  • Grease-packed bearings on driving end & oil splash lubrication at gear end
  • For air - oil free compression
  • Piston ring seals for lifelong reliability

Performance:

  • Pressure up to 1 bar (14.5 psig)
  • Vacuum up to 540 mbar (16" Hg)
  • Flow from 120 m3/h to 910 m3/h

Applications:

S2H positive blowers are used for the compression and vacuum duties on air or neutral gases.
