The agitation of baths to prevent floating bodies from approaching a pumping site is a possible application under pressure. Lobe blowers pulse air into the water to create turbulence and thus prevent the suction of foreign bodies.
Another very original experience with Hibon air pressure blowers under pressure was used in the 1960s by Commander Cousteau and his team in the underwater sphere of the pre-continent III operation. The Hibon blower, in a pressurized chamber, ensured the circulation of the respiratory mixture through filters retaining the carbon dioxide from human respiration. The experiment was successful, and several devices of this type were used by COMEX, a company specializing in underwater work at great depths (e.g., equipment for drilling platforms, underwater pipelines).
The list of applications under pressure is very long. Do not hesitate to contact us to discover our case studies.
